Check in and out of a job from the field

Every job has Check in / Check out buttons that record GPS location and timestamp — useful for proving time on site and keeping the job diary accurate.

1Open the job (Field Work → Jobs, then select it — or tap it from the mobile app).
2Tap 📍 Check in when you arrive. SJMS records your GPS position and the time, and adds an entry to the job's diary.
3Tap 🏁 Check out when you leave.
4Both buttons disable automatically once a job is marked completed.

Good to know: If location access is denied or unavailable, SJMS still records the check-in/out time — just without a GPS position.
