Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of SJMS ("Smart Job Management System"), a job management platform for trade and field service businesses, available at smartjobmanager.com ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate business and contact information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Team members you invite act under your business's account and your authority.

3. Free trial and fees

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. Published pricing applies after the trial. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.

4. Your data

  • You own the business data you enter (customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, files).
  • You can export or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
  • We store data in Australia (AWS Sydney region). See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to store unlawful content, infringe others' rights, attempt to breach security, or resell access without our written agreement.

6. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime level during the current stage. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. You remain responsible for your own tax, invoicing and record-keeping obligations, including the accuracy of GST amounts on documents you issue.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. After termination we retain data for 30 days for recovery, then delete it.

9. Changes and contact
